Responding to a MAP Supply Chain Request
Learn how to accept a buyer's mapping request using an invitation code, input your upstream network data, and manage your data privacy settings.
Step-by-Step Guidance:
- Locate Your Invitation: When invited to complete a MAP request, your supplier alias will receive an email containing a unique invitation code (e.g., Supply Chain Mapper - TfS Test - Invitation code XXXXX). Ensure nqc.com is on your email allowlist by referencing our Email Delivery Guide.
- Apply the Code: Log in to the platform with your main email address and password and switch to your Supplier alias account. On your My Questionnaires Dashboard, click the Enter invitation code button at the top of the screen. Paste your code, click Find, and then click Share. (If you receive an "Invalid Response" error, check the related article here or please contact the Sandbox Testing Lead).
- Add in your Product and Location Details: You will be taken directly to the mapping form. Review and edit the product name if necessary. Enter your manufacturing address and select the buyer's destination facility from the Ships to address dropdown menu to establish the supply route.
- Set Anonymity Preferences: By default, your upstream data is protected. If you are happy to share your network transparently with the buyer, uncheck the Keep sub-tier suppliers anonymous box.
- Add Your Suppliers: Click the + Add supplier button and complete the fields: Supplier location (geo-validated), Supplier organisation name (corporate database lookup), Supplier email address (use tfs@nqc.com for dummy cascading), Supplier product part name, and Supplier product part ID.
- Submit: Click Start at the bottom of the page.
Sandbox Tip: Switch back to your Buyer alias account and open this specific Supply Chain Mapper to see how your anonymity selection impacted the buyer's visibility of the network.
