Software Tester

About your new role:

Due to an exciting period of growth, NQC are on the look out for an accomplished Tester to join our Technical department. The main duties include:

  • System corrections for identified bugs, issues and problems as may be identified.
  • Produce technical procedures and documentation for the applications including user guides.
  • Robust testing of system prior to implementation in accordance with testing and acceptance methodologies as required.
  • Other testing or technology related tasks as may be reasonably required.

About you:

The successful candidate should have:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • An ISTQB foundation qualification is preferable, but not essential.

Support Centre Team Leader - Multilingual

About your new role:

Due to an exciting period of growth, NQC are on the look out for a talented Team Leader to join our Service Delivery department and manage a small team of Support Centre Representatives. The main duties include:

  • Supervising the workload of your team, allocating team members to optimise service provision and support across the hours of the operation of the Support Centre.
  • To supervise, coach and monitor your team to effectively carry out the duties of their role.
  • To ensure that your team follows established procedures, adhering to agreed service level agreements and quality standards whilst making sure they meet their targets delivering outbound and inbound support services.
  • To act as a point of contact in the event of any issues or complaints.
  • To ensure statistical information is produced, collated and analysed as required to assist in evaluating the efficiency of the team and to inform resource allocation and service improvements.
  • To provide outbound calling to encourage completion of online assessments and provide inbound support in response to telephone, email and online queries.

About you:

The successful candidate should have:

  • Experience in a high volume outbound calling environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness relating to Customer Service.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • The ability to motivate and engage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Technical Account Manager

About your new role:

Due to an exciting period of growth, NQC are on the look out for an experienced Account Manager to join our Service Delivery department and manage a small portfolio of clients. The main duties include:

  • To manage a portfolio of clients to agreed KPIs across all NQC products.
  • To manage and maintain all commercial aspects of each client account including quotations for new work, invoicing, contract renewal etc.
  • To identify commercial opportunities within the portfolio of clients and develop each client account to extend the existing portfolio of NQC products and increase the potential revenue stream to NQC.
  • To establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular close contact which will include regular face to face meetings, telephone and email communication.
  • To translate technical concepts to various stakeholders internally and externally.
  • To work with the project manager to manage delivery timetables and set deadlines for clients and internal teams

About you:

The successful candidate should have:

  • At least a 2:1 degree in business or a science related subject or equivalent experience
  • Substantial experience in a similar technical/client facing role
  • An up to date knowledge of technical trends
  • The ability to translate technical concepts to non technical individuals or groups.

CSR Researcher

About your new role:

NQC are on the look out for a talented CSR researcher to join our Research and Policy team.

You will join a passionate and fast-moving business, as a key member of the Research and Policy team responsible for analysing the latest trends in global sustainability risk. Your skills will help develop and maintain key products used to identify sustainability risk to government and private sector buyers.

The main duties include:

  • Research into UK and international legislation on sustainability issues and best practice, and convert into strategic outcomes, written reports, web briefings and other documentation as required.
  • Interpret client requirements and input, from industry and government, to produce materials that accurately reflect complex global themes, such as modern slavery and cyber security
  • Maintain a relevant level of knowledge and understanding in identified areas of government policy and strategy
  • Act as a point of contact on sustainability issues within NQC and assist other members of staff where relevant
  • Undertake/co-ordinate/manage in-house or commissioned research projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard

About you:

The successful candidate should have:

  • At least a 2:1 degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent education or experience
  • Substantial experience within a similar role
  • Knowledge of sustainability issues (to include environmental or social issues, health and safety, ethical business conduct, modern slavery or conflict minerals)
  • Research skills including the ability to create and analyse statistical information
  • Ability to critically analyse complex ideas and understand their business impact
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of using Excel to perform analysis
  • Auditing experience or qualification is desirable but not essential
